Cabin life, such a good life

At the end of February me and Camilla traveled to Norway to visit our Norwegian family. After we arrived on Oslo airport we took the train to a different part of Oslo to be picked up. After that we drove for about three hours to the mountains. This is where the family mountain cabin was situated, our home for the coming days. We had never seen pictures of it before, so we didn’t really know what to expect. I was a bit nauseous driving up the mountains after already traveling quite some time, but the view in the car was already so amazing. Snowy trees next to the roads, driving towards lovely white mountains, just amazing.
Then, after passing a barrier we drove up the hill, and we saw the cabin. It was surrounded by a white ocean of snow. It had a lovely entrance, and being inside I was amazed by the panoramic view over the area, which you can see in basically all of the rooms. When the sun set, and rose, the sky and mountains were covered with a soft blanket of orange and pink overlooked by the bright sun or moon. After being inside for some minutes my niece started to make fires in the two fireplaces, and put on as much candles as she could find. Instant happiness feeling. When I woke up the next morning it took me some time to realize where I was. After I did, I immediately walked to the window, opened the curtains and just sighed. What a view.
