A question that many people, myself included, struggle with is how to create more light in a room.
I just love light because as I said in an earlier post, everything looks better when the sun is shining, including your room/house. Therefore I think windows are a crucial point when buying a house.
But the question remains: How to create more light in a room that hasn’t many windows?
Well I found the sollution. I was shopping. Again? Yes, again. I was screening the store for nice things when suddenly something caught my eye…
It was a window with mirrors in it instead of glass. As simple as it is, it does solve my problem.
When the object is placed in the wright angle, it will reflect the light that comes from a window, creating a new source of light in your room. Because of the window shape of the object it will look like an actual window. Congratualations, you have now officially created an illusion. Let me tell you, illusions are the best! Of course there are many shapes and sizes of windows so below you’ll find some inspiration picks.
As Edith Wharton wrote:
There are two ways of spreading light: to be a candle or the mirror that reflects it.
